A personal start

I’m Jonathan Lafer, most people know me as Johnny. Through ftre.co, I’ve worked as a designer, builder, and problem-solver across many industries.

Over time, some of my clients began asking me for personal avatars and other AI-based solutions that could help them work, communicate, or scale in new ways.

Instead of handing over another tool and asking them to set it up themselves, I saw a bigger opportunity: to create a platform where AI is delivered as a complete, approachable solution, without the need for heavy technical knowledge or complex integrations.

ABOUT21

Why I built this platform

AI is often presented as a DIY project: dashboards, prompts, APIs, and endless settings. For many people and organizations, that creates more frustration than value. They want the benefits, not another technical burden.

This platform is built on a simple principle: make AI powerful, personal, and easy to use. It provides solutions that are ready to go, designed around real use cases, and personalized enough to feel human rather than distant.

Evolving with people, not just
technology

I don’t see this as a static product. The platform is always evolving with client feedback, new use cases, and the rapid pace of AI itself. Each request, whether for a virtual avatar, a workflow assistant, or a knowledge tool, shapes how I refine and expand the offering.

The goal is not to overwhelm with every possible feature but to curate what is useful, adapt it to real needs, and make sure the people using it feel supported and confident.

ABOUT22

Making AI approachable and slightly more ethical

AI should feel personal and approachable. It should communicate in ways that make sense, adapt to people rather than forcing them to adapt to it, and stay grounded in respect for the individuals it represents.

That is why I set clear ethical boundaries:

• Personal avatars or AI representations are created only with the full and clear approval of the person involved.

• Every project has a defined purpose, never vague or exploitative.

• Technology is positioned as a tool that empowers people, not as a replacement for human agency.

Where it's going

This is only the beginning. My aim is to continue expanding the platform into a suite of accessible AI tools that lower barriers, reduce friction, and open new creative and practical possibilities.

It will keep growing step by step with clients: adding new capabilities where they make sense, refining existing ones to make them clearer, and always holding on to the principle that technology should empower people, not distance them.
